The ‘Coder Missions’ have a structured 8-week time period during which participating teams around the globe will be supported and coached by experts to build a working prototype and supporting business model. A dual online/offline format is used, where participants can physically attend the kick-off and demo-days, whereas the rest of the program is implemented remotely via webinars and video calls. The missions are designed as an ongoing program and will be recurrently launched throughout the year.
Post Hackathon Support
For teams of coders working in a hackathon with impact or SDG-related challenges. Teams will arrive at a concept during the hackathon, but their ideas will still be raw. We provide post-hackathon mentorship on business modeling and extra prototyping to take their idea further.
Landscape Assignments
A new project within a vulnerable landscape where technology and data-driven methods are necessary as additional support to the current impact or SDG initiatives .
The ‘Mothership Coder Missions’ topics all fall under the umbrella of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Moreover, each Mission will be paired to the direct landscape it impacts: urban, agriculture, snow, desert, ocean or forest.
